Special Features

Reinforced Earth with grid cladding built on grade has the following advantages.

Reduced embedment and consequently reduction in the area of wall required

Elimination of special elements since upper elements are a constant level beneath the shoulder breakpoint of the road

Construction does not inhibit the earthworks and long runs of wall can be constructed at a time

Easy survey since setting out is only required once at the start of the construction and the levels of the foundation are limited to increments of the panel height beneath the shoulder breakpoint level
