An innnovative first in South Africa in terms
of a central junction of the ramps from the National Road
provided the design team with substantial challenges in concrete.
These challenges were compounded when a major refuelling station
and a restaurant were incorporated under the bridges.
The completed project is in harmony with the environment through
the use of concrete for the structural elements as well as
the public areas such as roads and footpaths.
The finish is pleasing and of a high quality throughout."
